Old Mill Pond and Waterfall-The Grist Mill was constructed in 1852 and located on Paran Creek, previously known as Haviland's Brook, named after the early settler of 1739, Joseph Haviland. The North Bennington Fire House is now located on this spot. The "penstock" on the left side of the photo, delivered the water to power the Mill.
"Rock Cut" South East Side of Lake Paran- Two unidentified "strollers" walking along the North Bennington railroad line.
Elwell-Matteson Farm- It later became the Belzora Inn and in the 1930's the Overlea Inn. Located at the junction of Overlea (now called Mechanic towards North Bennington and Overlea towards highway 7A) and Matteson.
